Dianne Buswell has shared an update with her Strictly Come Dancing co-stars following the birth of her child. The Australian professional dancer welcomed her adorable baby named Bowden into the world with her partner Joe Sugg. The couple met when they were partnered together back in 2018 for the popular BBC dancing show.
Their relationship has since gone from strength to strength. They were flooded with support from fans and co-stars following their announcement last week. Dianne updated fans throughout her pregnancy journey, including preparing her hospital bag filled with nappies, new baby clothes and a maternity bra.
YouTube star Joe Sugg announced the news on social media as he shared their new baby’s adorable name with followers. On Instagram, Joe shared a snap of their newborn wearing a blue knitted hat. He wrote: “Never felt a love like it. Baby Bowden Mark Richard Sugg 16/03/26.”
Dianne has a close relationship with her Strictly co-stars, and many took to the comments to send their support. Professional dancer Vito Coppola commented: “Oh Finally bello di zio I am so so happy crying for joy and happiness. Uncle Vito cannot wait to meet you. Love love love Bellissimo a zio.”
Amy Dowden also wrote: “Utter perfection So happy for you both, welcome baby Bowden! xxxx.”
Dianne recently shared another update as her Strictly Come Dancing co-stars have paid her new baby a visit. The dancer shared a photo of herself sat on her sofa alongside pro dancers Michelle Tsiakkas, Nancy Xu and Vito Coppola.
Dianne said: “When uncle Vito aunty Nancy and aunty Michelle come to visit. Bowie is very lucky to be so loved.”

Joe and Dianne wowed viewers with their first performance of the series, a jive to Take On Me by A-Ha. After getting to know each other behind the scenes, the couple announced they were in a relationship shortly after the show.
