Joe Sugg has set the record straight on the name of his baby. The YouTube star welcomed his first child into the world with his partner, Strictly Come Dancing star Dianne Buswell, on Monday. The couple announced the heartwarming news in a post on social media on Wednesday, revealing their baby’s unique name.
The couple announced the news they were expecting their first baby in an adorable post in September last year. They have been keeping their followers updated throughout their journey.
Joe shared Dianne had given birth to a baby boy as he wrote: “Never felt a love like it. Baby Bowden Mark Richard Sugg 16/03/26.”
He shared a snap of their newborn wearing a blue knitted hat, as well as a photo of Dianne cradling their tiny baby boy and another snap of Joe carrying him out of hospital.
Joe and Dianne’s friends and co-stars rushed to show their support following the news. Strictly’s Vito Coppola commented: “Oh Finally bello di zio I am so so happy crying for joy and happiness. Uncle Vito cannot wait to meet you. Love love love Bellissimo a zio.”
Amy Dowden wrote: “Utter perfection So happy for you both, welcome baby Bowden! xxxx.”

But Joe took to social media for a second time, shortly after the initial announcement to share an update about their son’s name.
Sharing a heartwarming photo of the new parents’ hands holding onto their newborn’s fingers, Joe wrote: “Bowden Sugg (Pronounced Bow like How not Bow like Row… hopefully that makes sense.”
Taking to the comments after the birth announcement, one fan wrote: “Oh he’s so adorable I just love his name so so happy for you both many many congratulations he’s perfect.”
A second said: “Beautiful name for a beautiful boy, congratulations to the new family.”
A third said: “Congratulations he’s so beautiful. Gorgeous name.”
Dianne met the YouTuber when they were partnered together back in 2018 for the popular BBC dancing show and their relationship has since gone from strength to strength.
Dianne has updated fans throughout her journey, including preparing her hospital bag filled with nappies, new baby clothes and a maternity bra.
